True to her roots as a Winnipegger, Kayla Jeanson is drawn to oddball narrative films and genre mashups. Many of her narrative films have been welcomed in screenings and festivals around the world, especially her 2015 short Descrambled Eggs, which was the winner of the 5th Ó’Bhéal Poetry Film Competition and the music video Le Dernier Soir.
