ILL-Abilities is an international breaking crew comprised of eight members from around the world:
These artists share two things in common: they each have superhuman skills as b-boys; and they each demonstrate resilience and ingenuity by finding ways to move with their unique disabilities.
I have followed Lazylegz, Checho, Kujo, Redo, Perninha, Samuka, Krops, and Junior across the globe, capturing performances in Montreal, in Washington DC at the Kennedy Centre, at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, and at Red Bull BC One’s breaking World Final in Rio in December 2024. These moments are being shaped into a feature length film to premiere in 2026.
